There have been two occasions at the BotH when almost total silence has fallen over the club. Jason Molina been onstage for both. No one, not even Will Oldham, has achieved this! Save the lyrical inclusion of 'Captain Badass', Molina's set was entirely new material. Instead of getting restless, people just seemed to become even more enthralled. Just what the hell are we getting at here? Are we trying to say that there is a single person with a voice so hypnotic that he can just stand on a stage with a guitar and hold an entire club captive? Yes. And you missed it. Shame on you.
