"Boyskout, a blend of thumping rhythms, dungeony arrangements, seductive vocal callings, and full-throttle attitude belted out amidst layers of surprising melodies, BoySkout's songs range from tight dark pop ditties - rock n roll goes dancing - to synth-driven ballads and eerily compelling tales of self-expression."

The raven-haired love child of Echo and the Bunnymen and Love and Rockets. A dark and catchy four-piece from San Francisco’s Mission District, elephone’s dark guitar textures, dynamic vocals and literary vision have earned them comparisons to Radiohead and The Cure in local and national press.

Intricate, moving, cinematic, elephone is defining a sound and movement like other breakaway artistic acts from Interpol to U2, Jesus and Mary Chain to Blur. As a band working to bring honest music into dishonest times, elephone describes their sound as a cross between Charlie Chaplin and Frank Lloyd Wright.

"Well outside the norm. Condor is Wendy Farina (drums, vocals), Kurt Keppeler (synths, vocals), and Joshua Richardson (bass, vocals). Together, these three individuals create experimental rock music that doesn't follow patterns. Experimentation is the word of the day here...as Do It Everywhere is an exercise in spontaneity. Many of the tunes on this album sound as if they were written and recorded on the spot. This band combines pop, rock, disco, and techno-pop...and then spews them out with intriguing passionate energy. Whether you like 'em or hate 'em...you have to admit that Condor doesn't sound very much like other bands. Harsh metallic crunchers like "Go No Dull," "Here You Go," and "Strings Undone" make this album a very peculiar spin indeed... (Rating: 4++++)" --BabySue
