The Music Lovers: '... it's stately cha-cha rhythms and Vegas-grade musical lexicon - bells, orchestras, woodwind, extravagently picked guitars - combine with Edwards love-broken lyrics to suggest a lost Graham Greene novel about seedy Brits shipwrecked in Caesars Palace rather than Port-au-Prince... immaculate' - WORD Magazine (UK)

That Man Fantastic: "Originally from Manchester England, singer songwriter Stephen Duffy, now calls Oakland California home. Having fronted Gaf The Horse in Tears and The Handsome Poets this latest project with a silly name is the culmination of years spent crafting spooky pop music for grown ups. Ably assisted by the mysterious Brother Jack Elder on guitars, Bass player David Brooks and Guitarist Matt Granz, this first cd is the album that I've been dreaming about since I was a kid!! The album also features William Duke on guitar percussion and vocals, Randal Mitros on Drums, Dave Demby on bass, Stuart Thomas on piano, and George Ludwig on guitar. The album was mixed by Billy and Stephen at Erie Street studios in Oakland."

"The Bye Bye Blackbirds are a harmony drenched band of songwriting fanatics who marry their love of classic 60's pop with the moody jangle of 80's New Zealand, 70's countrypolitan and the lyrically rich, melodically inspired gems of any era. A self-released ep, "Honeymoon", is coming soon."
